There was no white smoke from a planned meeting of the Dublin County Board last night.
A meeting, where a new senior hurling boss was due to be appointed, had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
It's thought there's two men in the frame to replace Ger Cunningham.
One of them is former senior football boss with the Dubs, Pat Gilroy, and it's believed he'd be joined by former Galway manager Anthony Cunningham if he was to be appointed.
The other man being considered is the successful Cuala boss Mattie Kenny.
He has lead the Dalkey club to back-to-back Dublin senior hurling titles, while his side also claimed their first All-Ireland Club championship back in March.
It's thought an appointment will be made in the coming days.
