Facebook page Rare Irish Stuff have shared a video interview with Conor McGregor from 2008.
In this rare glimpse at the fighter pre-fame he discusses his boxing career, the move into MMA and his dreams for the future.
"I've been boxing pretty much all my life. I started MMA two or three years ago and I instantly had a knack for it."
When asked what it would mean to him to fight in the UFC he replied, "words can't even describe it. I'm training so hard and my game is coming along. I will be where I want to be, I'm 100% confident of that."
A nice lesson in self-belief from Conor McGregor ahead of the fight tomorrow night which is set to break viewing records.
