According to tech websites that have used the feature, you can 'emoji react' to a message by long-pressing it.
There are six initial emojis being used, according to the trial:
A thumbs-up, a love heart, a crying face, a laughing face, a shocked face, and a handshake.
It's a feature that has become commonplace with the likes of iMessage, Instagram and Twitter.
Recently Instagram allowed users to like stories separately rather than starting a DM with the person.
