The days of firing a risky text to an ex or sending a message to the totally wrong person are almost behind us.
WhatsApp are set to introduce a new 'Recall' feature - which'll allow users to delete messages within a five minute window.
With the new function, all types of messages including texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even Status replies, can be deleted according to the Irish Independent.
Whatsapp will reportedly enable the Recall function in version “2.17.30+” of the app, which is due shortly.
Version 2.17.30 of WhatsApp has just hit the App Store, but Recall hasn’t been switched on yet.
