A 23 year old man has been shot dead in Dublin during the early hours of this morning.
Details are still emerging about the incident that happened in Coolock.
The shooting happened at around 2.20am this morning on Moatview Avenue in Coolock.
The 24 year old man received fatal injuries.
A Black Audi A3, registration number 00-OY-5067, was found partially burnt out in nearby Finglas.
Gardaí say it was connected with the incident.

His body has been removed to the city mortuary, while a post mortem is taking place this afternoon.
The area has been sealed off for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Coolock or the Garda Confidential Line
