Over 5 thousand eager applicants found out today if they had received a CAO offer.
This morning marked the first wave of CAO offers. However, today was strictly for mature and deferred applicants or those who have completed an access course or were making visa arrangements.
4,349 will receive a Level 8 offer and 1,621 will receive a Level 7/6 offer. 875 applicants will receive an offer on both the Level 8 and Level 7/6 lists.
Those who have applied are encouraged to check the CAO website. A new system of delivering offers via email or text is also an option!
The cutoff date for accepting these offers is next Wednesday, the 12th of July.
Speaking about the offer process, the head of communications for CAO, Eileen Keleghan, commented; “We urge all mature, deferred and other applicants who may be expecting an offer at this stage to log in to their CAO accounts after 10 am today to check if they have received a Round A offer."
Next Round
Round Zero will take place on the 3rd of August for additional mature applicants, deferred and Access applicants, and graduate entry medicine applicants. Also, applicants presenting QQI FET/FETAC qualifications for entry to courses with a quota for QQI FET/FETAC applicants.
For all other applicants, Round One offers will be issued on 30 August. They will be available to view online from 2 pm.
The reply date for Round One offers is 5 September by 3 pm.
Round Two offers will be available to view online from 11 September from 2pm.
