Five men have been arrested in connection with the drugs seizure on a cargo vessel in the Port of Foynes in Limerick this week.
The men - who are 35, 41, 44, 46 and 50 - are all being questioned at Garda Stations in the county this afternoon.
Around 300 kilos of cocaine, valued at 21 million euro, was found onboard the Maltese-registered bulk cargo vessel.
The search of the vessel, which is being led by officials from Revenue Customs Service, is ongoing.
Revenue today seized the vessel.
It says investigations are continuing, in conjunction with An Garda Síochána.
