Around 40,000 homes and businesses in Dublin City and surrounds are without water.
That's because of a burst high-pressure main, repair crews are working to access it.
Irish Water says supply may be disrupted in the following areas:
- Dolphins Barn
- Harold's Cross
- Kilmainham
- Fleet Street
- Brunswick Street
- The Liberties
- Gardener Street
- Dorset Street
- Drumcondra
- Whitehall
- Artane
- Coolock
- Beaumont
- Fairview
- Raheny
- Clontarf
- Killester
- Home Farm
- Cabra
- North City Centre
The utility company says repairs are "complex due to the location of the dig and the presence of other underground services."
Irish Water hopes to restore services by 10am, tomorrow morning.
The firm notes to wait 2-3 hours after estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
We're working with @DubCityCouncil to restore water supply as quickly as possible to impacted customers in parts of the city centre and surrounding suburbs following a burst to a high-pressure water main. See https://t.co/Ry99jllFA8 for more.
