A man in his early 20s has appeared at a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, in relation to a serious assault in Swords on Thursday evening.
A 19 year old man was taken to Beaumont Hospital, following the assault on Brookdale Avenue.
He remains in a critical condition, it's understood he suffered stab wounds.
It happened at around 7pm on Thursday.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the attack to come forward.
