A man has died after being struck by a lorry in north Dublin last night.
It happened on the R135 at Kilshane Cross, Newtown shortly after half 9.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been removed to the Dublin City Morgue.
The driver of the lorry didn't need immediate medical treatment.
The road is closed this from Kilshane Cross and the N2 roundabout this morning as forensic collision investigators examine the scene.
Gardaí in Finglas are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
