Police in the North have issued a scam warning after a Chinese student based there was conned out of £200,000.
The PSNI says a fake phone call, claiming to be from Beijing Police, is the third case of its kind since last year.
This fake phone call happened "in recent weeks" according to the PSNI.
The woman was told, by two men, she had to pay 200,000 pounds or else she'd be arrested.
The funds were transferred and the woman never heard from the fake police officers again.
PSNI Detective Superintendent Richard Thornton says this is a "despicable crime", and the fraudsters went so far as to contact the student online and dress in uniforms.
It has issued the public with five rules to be scam aware.
They include not engaging with unsolicited calls or texts that demand personal information, never call back, never click links and never transfer money to another account you don't trust.
