Over 4,300 notices of termination were issued by landlords to tenants in the final three months of last year.
43 per cent of them were issued in Dublin, according to the Residential Tenancies Board.
Meanwhile, a leading homeless charity says its clients are "desperate for answers", as the eviction ban lifts.
Threshold is currently dealing with almost 2,000 live eviction cases and expects that number to rise in the coming months.

Thousands Of E-Mails
These people in Dublin have spent months searching for a new home, in preparation for the eviction ban to lift.
One man told us "I'm on the renting websites every day, I'm emailing every single day."
Another woman said "you'll send 150 mails on DAFT(.ie) and maybe you'll get one reply."
