The Spanish public broadcaster has called for a "debate" into Israel's participation at the Eurovision.
RTVE has written to the organisers, the European Broadcasting Union about KAN, which is Israel's public television body and represents the country at the competition.
The EBU describes itself as an "alliance" of public service broadcasters and organisations.
In its letter, the Spanish public broadcaster mentions "concerns" raised by civil society groups in Spain over the situation in Gaza.
"RTVE believes it would be appropriate for the EBU to recognize the existence of this debate and facilitate a space for reflection among EBU member broadcasters on the participation of Israeli public television station KAN," it concludes.
The 2025 Eurovision will take place in Basel in Switzerland in the middle of next month.
Ireland's entry is "Laika Party" by Emmy.
