Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a 15 year old boy was attacked in Limerick.
It happened last Thursday in the People's Park at Pery Square.
It's understood the boy was approached and assaulted just after 3pm that day, and suffered injuries to his face.
The boy was taken to University Hospital Limerick by ambulance.
A Garda spokesperson said; "Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to contact Gardaí at Roxboro Road Station."
"Enquires are ongoing."
