Mia Yermeche
Mia Yermeche has had quite a couple of months.
She joined Sarina as The Bellissimo Files One To Watch to tell us how the first song she ever wrote went to number one.
Mia has always been passionate about music but said lockdown last year really pushed her to hone her skills.
Having previously only done covers online, she decided to put pen to paper and write her first track.
She then reached out to producer Chris Kabs (who'd noticed her online covers when she was just 15) to see if he wanted to work with her.
He got on board and made her first ever written track into her newly released single Butterflies.

The day it was released the track went to number one on iTunes.
Mia said she's so thankful to her management and Chris Kabs for mentoring her and helping her get the track out when she was so new to the process.
However, the release has also come at a very busy time for Mia as she's currently preparing to do her Leaving Cert!

Although Mia's focus will be on her final exams for the next while she's hoping music will become something she can make a career of.
She said since writing Butterflies she's written about 50 more songs and hopes to release a second single followed by an EP.
Mia has a distinct R&B sound that reminisces on the noughties but also has a fresh feel that will be loved by fans of Alicia Keys, Kehlani and Ariana Grande.
