Niamh O’Hara from Helping Handbags Dublin told Sarina that they are asking people to fill their handbags with feminine essentials like tampons, panty liners, shampoo and body wash.

A shopping list that can be used when gathering your Helping Handbag supplies... NB: we ask that no aerosols are included in the bags as they cannot be donated.

They are also asking people to include socks, hats and scarves in the bags.

The filled handbags can be dropped off at the Papal Cross, The Phoenix Park on Sunday 1^st December from 12 – 2pm or at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin on 2 8, 29 and 30 November.
