Riyadh Khalaf is flying the Irish flag on this year's Celebrity MasterChef UK, getting through to next week's semi final shows.

Riyadh told Sarina on Saturday's Plan B that he was so excited to get the call to tell him he was in the show.

He has always loved food and cooking - even going back to the days of when Riyadh and Sarina were working together on Plan B. He would get her to broaden her taste buds by bringing in stuff she'd never heard of.

Riyadh shared what it was like walking onto the Masterchef set, how he dealt with the pressure that comes with the shows and the resulting injuries.

This moment tho. I nearly hit the floor when Gregg said “one of the best starts I’ve seen on celebrity masterchef”(!!) Thank you thank you for all of the amazing messages during last night’s show. I was bricking it before the my first ep went out but excited for the rest now. So grateful to have survived the first elimination but I really did miss super-hun @judymurray_.
