Paddy Smyth
We all fell in love with Paddy Smyth on First Dates Ireland.
He is back with a new TV series, The Fitting Room. The show is on a mission to prove that fashion can be fun and accessible for all.
Next on #PLANB @PaddyySmyth will be chatting about new show #thefittingroom
He chats to @SBellissimo about how fashion can be fun and accessible for all. The show will be ripping open the seams of what makes each of us unique.

It aims to celebrate difference and rip open the seams of what makes each of us unique.
The Fitting Room
Paddy is thrilled to be a part of this show.
Not only because this is a show with a heart and great message, but because working on television has always been a big dream of Paddy’s, however, for so long, he was told that because of his cerebral palsy, that dream would never become a reality.
I’ve been told before that I wouldn’t transcend to viewers or that people wouldn’t get me and I always thought it was down to my disability that I got rejected.”, he told Sarina.
Welcome to #TheFittingRoom.
New series starts tonight 9.30pm @PaddyySmyth, @CiaraODoherty, @ZoeCarolW, @RuediMaguire#FashionForAll pic.twitter.com/jcyb96wNim

“It was amazing to be a part of something like this. To give the people of the show a platform to tell their stories and also for you not to feel sorry for them. This is more lifting them up and to show you these people are warriors. Hopefully we are getting to a more inclusive and diverse society.”
We need to stop taking fashion so seriously but we also need to realise the importance of clothes and how they can make us feel. Fashion is an expression of who we are. Paddy has a great quote he uses to some up style. “Fashion is supposed to be opinionated, so if you don't like what I'm wearing, someone else will,” We need to have more fun with fashion.
Online trolling
While there is a lot of love out there for Paddy, he has still received some trolling.
“I am not disabled because their perception of a disabled person wouldn’t be myself.” Paddy knows the experience of living with cerebral palsy but rather than go back at the trolls, he has a laugh and feels sorry for them.
Wow @PaddyySmyth & team #TheFittingRoom am in floods of tears already, thank you x @LifeStyleRTE ❤️ pic.twitter.com/9tYQosrUqw
