If you rolled Electric Picnic, Longitude and All Together Now together you still wouldn’t have Ireland’s biggest music festival. That honour goes to Fleadh Cheoil.
Over 400,000 people make their way to the festival every year for the festival.
If you can’t make it this year, TG4 are going to be broadcasting live from the Fleadh from Thursday to Sunday from 8.30 – 11.30pm.
One of the presenters of Fleadh TV is musician Roisin O.
Roisin told Sarina on Saturday’s Plan B that she is really looking forward to being the one asking the questions rather than answering them and just getting to enjoy some great music.
Thanks Brother
Roisin also shared that while she loved being a solo singer, she is really enjoying being a part of Thanks Brother, with John Broe.

Their latest single, FML has caused some controversy with some people calling Joe Duffy’s Liveline to complain about the video which features a singing priest (and an all star choir including Gavin James and Danny O’Reilly) in a church.

The silver lining to come out of this is that many people went online to watch the video and have now become Thanks Brother’s newest fans.
Thanks Brother will be playing their first Whelan’s headline gig on November 16th.
Feladh Cheoil will be broadcast on TG4 from Thursday 15thto Sunday 18thAugust, 8.30 – 11.30pm
