Suzanne Jackson
Suzanne Jackson joined Sarina on Plan B to discuss her new show The Style Counsellors.
After the first episode, Suzanne faced backlash for comments which were labelled as fat-shaming.
The show sees two of Ireland’s leading style and beauty social media stars join forces to help people find their fashion mojo.
Suzanne had encouraged a woman to throw out jeans which no longer fit her and embrace her new figure.
Speaking about the incident, she said "the girl in question had lost the weight and was holding onto those size 18 jeans. She was now a size 14. We were saying 'Right, these jeans are in the bin.' "
"I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with being a size eighteen. Of course there's not."
Suzanne said she was aware that there was backlash over her comments but she tries to keep positive.
"I didn't see anything online because I'm built that way not to go looking for the negatives."
"At the end of the day, people are going to look for the negatives. I never, ever fat-shamed anybody."
