This week's One To Watch is Tara Walsh with her debut single Hooked.
We're used to hearing Tara bringing us entertainment news on Spin 1038 and presenting Spin Hits on Saturdays.
However, she has been writing music for most of her life.
The now 22-year-old has been performing in bars, restaurants and venues across Ireland since she was just 14.

Tara and her brother Daniel Walsh might be Ireland's answer to Billie and Finneas Eilish.
The pair put their downtime during the pandemic to good use by collaborating and writing and producing this song from their home.
Daniel is a producer who’s currently studying audio technology in BCFE.

Tara took some lockdwon inspiration from fellow Irish singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy.
Speaking about her new single, Tara said:
“I remember reading a post on Dermot Kennedy’s Instagram Stories in April. He basically encouraged artists to use this time in isolation to get creative –so that’s what I did.”

Tara has already began work on her debut EP, which she says will feature influences from other genres. She's a huge country music fan!
