WARD
This week's One To Watch is 18-year-old WARD.
He joined Sarina on this week's The Bellissimo Files to tell her about the release of his debut EP Strawberry Jam.
WARD has only been making music for just under two years.
Speaking to Sarina he said when he started out he thought he wasn't a great singer.
However, with the investment in a good mic he realised he was just using the wrong equipment.
He recommends people invest in a good setup to get started, which can still be done on a budget!

Sarina asked WARD where he got the unusual name for the EP.
The Waterford native said he was hanging out with his friends one morning eating pancakes and trying to brainstorm some ideas when one of them passed him the jam.
He thought it was the perfect name to capture that moment and give him good memories.
The EP has a similar theme, with songs about the summer and the relationships that come and go throughout.

WARD said there's lots of exciting things coming down the line for him but what he's most looking forward to is finally getting out gigging.
