A new Growing Up In Ireland study shows mental health concerns are rising among 25-year-olds.

One in four reported being diagnosed with depression or anxiety - that's up from just under two in ten at age 20.

The study found women were more likely than men to report a diagnosis, as well as higher stress levels and lower self-esteem.

The survey conducted by the CSO shows just over half of 25-year-olds neither smoke nor vape.

However, nearly one in ten say they do both.

It showed levels of vaping are similar between men and women, while smoking rates are slightly higher among men.
